Animation

Navelgazers (2018) Running time TBA - Based on a dream from May 2017 about a girl and her brother who explore the peaceful meadow they live in.

Mr. Nothinggoesright (2017) 03:45 seconds - Music video of the song by Guido and Maurizio De Angelis, known collectively as Oliver Onions, this video shows a man’s misfortune and misery, as three dancing girls show sympathy for him.

Force of Habit (2016) - Autism Uncut finalist 2017 03:42 seconds - A film about my feelings and experiences as a young woman on the autistic spectrum, why I relate to Tuco from The Good, the Bad and the Ugly and what happened one Sunday in church.

The film has been shown in five different film festivals; Autism Uncut, the Autism Arts Festival, the Other Film Festival in Melbourne, Australia, the Sheffield Docfest and Oska Bright.

Dream from the 16th of March (2016) 02:09 seconds - Based on a dream I had about Tajomaru from Rashomon climbing up a simply drawn tree that looked like one from ’Dip Dap’, resting on it and seeing living ‘Tumbling Monkeys’ toys bouncing around him.

Design work

Design, prop painting and animation on Wendell’s Advantageous Adversity (Liam Findlay, 2016) - I painted various objects in gouache such as a crate for Findlay’s stop motion film and animated unloaded muskets firing at Wendell. I also painted studies in Photoshop of concept art from Disneyland like Claude Coats’ art for the Haunted Mansion and Rolly Crump’s art for the Museum of the Weird. To get the look of the film I did a study from one of Brett Helquist’s illustrations.

Design work on The Birthday Party (Amy Backwell, 2015) - I did designs for the characters of the tiger and the tumble dryer. I drew the tiger on Photoshop and I did colour variations for the tumble dryer by copying and pasting it in several layers on Photoshop and adjusting

the hue and saturation on each layer.

Storyboarding
Storyboard and animatic for final project There Are No Strings On Me(2015) - For my second year project at University I drew all of the storyboards and drew and painted all of the animatic drawings for my groundbreaking, game-changing feminist story about a young girl who runs away from home after finding out that her mother has been having an affair with the boy next door. I drew all of the animatic drawings on Photoshop and then edited it on iMovie. For the story I was inspired by animations such as Frozen, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie and theSpongeBob episode SB-129.

Storyboards for Sabrina Parker music videos (Fire and Ice, Parachute and Write You Down) (2013-2016) - My sister, Sabrina Parker, is a singer-songwriter and I drew all the storyboards for her music.

Illustration/graphic design

Poster design for music class posters, for local distribution and social media (2014) - I hand drew pictures of children for Lydia Parker’s baby music class, in a style inspired by Disney’s Merbabies and early 20th Century artists such as Grace Drayton.

Use of abstract painting Eberhard Prüter for Myriad Theatre Company (2015) - I painted the painting Eberhard Prüter as a personal project, and I gave Lydia Parker permission to use it as an image for Myriad’s social media platform.

Book cover for Abgerechnet Wird zum Schluss by Joe Tyler (2016) In late 2015 I was contacted in a private message on DeviantArt by an author writing a Western novel, and he asked me to do a Western speed paint of an image from the Clint Eastwood film ‘Hang ‘em High’. He sent me two images from it and I chose a striking one showing Jed Cooper bending over with his hands covering his face.

Poster design for theatre double feature Love, Sex and Apps by Michelle Sewell (2016) - Lydia Parker, my mother directed these plays for the double feature about relationships on social media and I

designed posters for it on Photoshop using various cut and paste techniques.

Skills

I can paint in Photoshop and use cut and paste techniques for editing.

I can do both puppet animation and hand drawn animation in Adobe Animate.

I’m good at editing in iMovie and Premiere. I not only edited There Are No Strings On Me in Premiere, but the influence video for it, too.

I can do hand drawn animation on paper and I practiced at University for three years.

I’m able to do ToonBoom Harmony drawing and colouring. A colour sample I’m working on at the moment about what goes on in Oxfam stores is entirely drawn and painted in ToonBoom Harmony.

I’m good at Maya animation; I know how to animate in the programme and I have good timing and a unique sense of animation acting.

I am also adept at acrylic painting and watercolour painting and I am

also good at gouache.
